A fun and relaxed day out. The train driver (Pete) is incredibly friendly and makes it an enjoyable experience for all. We had a 2 year old party - kids from 1yr to 11yrs old had fun. Bakery and public toilets closeby

Unfortunately due to medical reasons, we have to postpone the Teddy Bear Picnic. We will advise an alternative date as soon as possible.
We will still run trains on Saturday October 1st. Some of the bears have already arrived and will still be happy to see you on Saturday. Trains from 10am - 2pm

All running days are subject to suitable weather (not wet) - check back regularly for the latest updates.

As part of staying Covid-Safe, we clean our trains regularly and encourage physical distancing.
Please wait at the ticket box to be invited on-site.

Tickets are $5 per person, per ride or purchase a 10 ride ticket for $40.

*Adults must accompany young children.

Keep watching here or on our Facebook page for the latest updates.

Please contact us if you would like to have a Birthday or group event at the railway and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Make sure to check our Facebook page as we update it regularly... even during running days.
We are reliant on suitable weather on all of our scheduled days.

*Media Policy
We regularly take photos and videos of our trains for promotional and advertising purposes. Please advise at the ticket box on arrival if you do not wish to be in any promotional media. Otherwise, we will assume permission has been granted.

About the railway...
The first trains for the public ran in November 2001. The ride is now a 1km long journey that rolls through gardens and natural bushland with four bridge crossings (including an over/underpass). The ride duration is 7-8 minutes.
Great for children and adults alike... have a look at our reviews!

From September 2017, Peter Willsher and a crew of volunteers have been running the railway.
We aim to run the trains on at least two Saturdays each month and extra days during school holidays (global pandemic and weather permitting).
